Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative will ensure overall customer satisfaction while executing the Company's team goals, strategies, and objectives. This person will be responsible for achieving sales targets, setting customer-specific growth strategies and forming lasting business relationships with customers globally.
Job Duties:
- Respond timely and accurately to customer requests
- Find/develop creative solutions for customers in response to requests for quotes
- Understand customers’ success criteria and links with company's product and service offerings
- Maintain constant communication with customers, providing follow-up on quoted items, invoicing, shipment tracking information and open action items
- Build trusted relationship with key contacts and budgeted customers
- Manage budgeted customer process
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to identify sale opportunities to repair vendors
- Work with Supply Chain team to prevent stock-outs and no-quote scenarios by proactively reviewing inventory repair and/or acquisition
- Targeted outreach & development
- Follow targeted outreach and development process
- Research new customer and acquisition opportunities
- Make proactive sales calls to seek new business relationships
- Work with Marketing Representative to develop creative proactive sales initiatives
- Collaborate on global acquisition process with Acquisition team
- On call 1 week a month for after hours calls/emails/AOG needs
Job Skills/Requirements:
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative, collaborative, and friendly working relationships with your team members
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks and assignments as requested by other departments in the time requested
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interact well with customers / suppliers over the phone and in person
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize projects with competing deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Access
- Capable of multi-tasking – demonstrated ability to move between tasks / priorities
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
- A high-level attention to detail is required
- A keen focus on continuous improvement
- Must possess leadership skills and qualities
- Travel of 0-10 working days per month should be expected
Educational Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business-related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in sales or customer service preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
