What You Will Do
Position Summary :
Reporting to the Production Manager Assembly of custom and semi-custom blower packages. Technicians may assemble packages individually or in a team using drawings, specifications, and custom job documentation.

- Assembly of Blower Packages : Assemble blower and compressor packages per company-defined procedures with accuracy, precision, and quality.
- Department Support : Participate in departmental initiatives such as inventory counts, shop reorganization, and clean-up.
- Identify Mechanical Challenges : Identify potential mechanical challenges found during assembly and work with the team to develop solutions to optimize product quality while meeting customer requirements.
- Inventory Management : Pull parts for jobs (using a forklift as needed). Complete inventory documentation as needed. Maintain and restock Kanban inventory stocks
- Visual Product & Component Knowledge : Identifies Aerzen products and understands their use for the job function.
- Understand and use Equipment Diagrams : Read, understand, and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other documentation to assemble blower packages per customer requirements. Uses General Arrangement (GA) drawings to assemble a blower package. Uses GA drawing to obtain dimensions for blower assembly. Uses basic instrumentation GA diagram to install gauges, switches, and fittings. Uses diagrams to program ASG, AS, or Aertronic control panel.
- Electrical Schematics : Read, understand, and use electrical schematics to wire motors, control panels, and switches in accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC, NEMA, ASME, etc.)
- Job Documentation : Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other documentation to assemble blower and compressor packages per customer requirements.
- Wire & Program Control Panels : Wire preassembled control panel to blower assembly, Wire low voltage switches, transmitters, thermostats, and sensors in blower package, Connect VFD to blower package
- Customer Service Skills : Ability to respond to customer needs with professionalism and responsiveness.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed in a LEED Certified, general office environment, and shop and warehouse location. Cement floors, daylight, seasonally adjusted temperatures. Overhead cranes, moving forklifts on a consistent basis. Welding arcs are being used. Exposure to paints, solvents, degreaser, adhesives / sealants, and oils. Position may require availability for extended hours plus non-traditional hours required to perform job duties. May also require participation and attendance at organization-sponsored events and meetings.
