Position Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and motivated Medical Assistant & Front Desk Receptionist to join our amazing team. As a member of our front desk team, you will be the first person our guests meet when they arrive. As a member of our medical assistants team, you will play an instrumental role in helping patients feel at ease by providing high quality patient care and excellent customer service. To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate genuine warmth and hospitality to ensure the highest quality experience and care for our valued patients.
Clinical Responsibilities:
• Providing patient care and support to the medical staff
• Documenting medical histories, keeping records confidential and in good order
• Explaining treatment procedures to patients
• Sterilizing each medical instrument before and after each procedure
• Manage treatment rooms so they are well stocked, organized, and clean
• Collecting and performing basic laboratory tests
Administrative Duties:
• Scheduling appointments for patients
• Answering telephones and assisting in other front desk duties
• Updating and filing patient medical records
• Arranging for laboratory services
Education And Qualifications:
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• 1-3 years of experience as a qualified Medical Assistant
• 0-2 years of experience as a qualified Front Desk Receptionist
• Knowledge of medical office EMR systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge in MS Office software
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent team player and strong attention to detail
