Basic Functions: The Resource Coordinator aids with a variety of basic human resource related, IT and Executive support duties. This role is pivotal in providing a seamless experience for new hires, ensuring smooth offboarding processes, managing workspace IT set-up, and troubleshooting technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting employees, a strong understanding of IT fundamentals, and a flexible approach to handling various tasks and responsibilities including support to executive leadership within the organization.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Employee Onboarding
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring proper orientations, and ensuring they have the necessary tools, resources, and information for a smooth transition into their roles.
- Set up accounts, permissions, and equipment for new employees, including email, software applications, and hardware devices.
- Develop and maintain onboarding checklists and documentation to streamline and enhance the onboarding experience.
- Prepare new employee files.
- Oversee completion and filing of Forms W4 and I-9, verifying I-9 documentation, and maintaining onboard files
- Employee Offboarding
- Manage offboarding tasks, including deactivating accounts, collecting company assets, and securing data in line with company policies.
- Conduct exit procedures to ensure compliance with IT security protocols and assist in knowledge transfer if necessary.
- Workspace IT Setup and Troubleshooting
- Set up and configure workspaces for employees, ensuring all necessary hardware (computers, monitors, docking stations) and software are operational.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for employees, addressing issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and access.
- Collaborate with external IT vendors when necessary to resolve issues beyond internal capabilities.
- General Support and Additional Duties
- Respond to ad-hoc support requests from employees regarding IT and workspace setup.
- Assist in managing IT inventory, tracking company assets, and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Assist with recruitment and interview process.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the operational or executive needs of the company.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Familiarity with IT hardware and software setup, user account management, and common troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to anticipate needs, troubleshoot independently, and find efficient solutions.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and a high level of discretion.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education and Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years in an IT support, employee relations, or similar role.
