The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource in the Human Resources department, providing comprehensive HR support across various functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR practices and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :
HRIS / Onboarding Experience
- Make changes in the HRIS (Paylocity experience is a plus!)
- Enter New Hires into Paylocity
- Conduct New Hire Orientation
- Cross Train (Garnishments, tax levy, child support)
Recruitment and Staffing :
Will help assist operations with full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, run criminal background, motor vehicle report, clearinghouse, and pre-employment drug test.Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.Employee Relations :
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, addressing issues promptly and effectively.Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate disputes as necessary.Respond to employee inquires within 24 hoursPerformance Management :
Support the performance appraisal process, providing guidance on goal setting and performance evaluations.Assist in the development of performance improvement plans.Training and Development :
Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.Compliance and Policy Administration :
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.Maintain and update HR policies and procedures as needed.OSHA maintenance and reportingManage FMLA processFile and manage Workers’ Compensation claims processManage Unemployment filings and hearingsAnnual Workers Compensation AuditData Management and Reporting :
Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.Prepare HR metrics and reports for management review.EEO-1 Annual reportingBureau of Labor StatisticsAnnual ReportingStrategic HR Initiatives :
Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support organizational goals.Assist in developing strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.Perform other duties as assignedCompensation and Benefits :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is a plus.Experience : Minimum of 4- 6 years of experience in Human Resources Field, with a focus on generalist functions.Preferred Skills : Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and their impact on HR practicesWork Environment :
Hybrid Position : 2 Days Remote / 3 Days in Office (After completion of 90-day probationary period)
