AFC URGENT CARE – Saint Petersburg, FL
American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S. providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. We are looking for a Commission-Based Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue and build relationships within the community.
Job Summary
We are excited to expand our growing team with a dynamic, results-driven Commission-Based Outside Sales Representative position to support our Multi-Million dollar urgent care operations.
This role requires traveling, meeting prospects in person, and building relationships through personal touchpoints. The Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting new business, pitching, negotiating and closing clients on our MyAFC Program (membership based Healthcare offering for individuals, families & businesses), as well as Workers Comp and Occupational Medicine services.
The individual will have the unique opportunity to leverage Dunkin’ Donuts and Smalls Sliders (two QSR brands under the umbrella of the Parent Company - Purple Square Management) to win over potential clients and partner in cross promotional activities.
The earning potential is unlimited as we look to attract new business across our 11 locations.
Benefits
- Base Salary - $40,000 - $55,000, commensurate with experience, with unlimited commission structure based on new leads and traffic increases.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Actively seek new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending local events to build your client base for membership programs.
- Sales Presentations: Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients (businesses, individuals, and families) to educate them about the benefits of our urgent care clinic membership programs.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Understand the unique needs of each client and tailor membership solutions that align with their requirements, ensuring the value of urgent care access is clear and compelling.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage retention, renewal, and future sales growth.
- Lead Follow-Up and Closing Sales: Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring all prospects are followed up with effectively and efficiently.
- Track and Report Progress: Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and progress toward sales targets using CRM software. Communicate progress to executive team on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with Clinic Team: Work closely with the clinic’s operations team to ensure smooth onboarding for new members and provide feedback on customer needs and preferences.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to earn competitive commissions and bonuses.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in outside sales, or membership-based products or services.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to present and explain services in a clear, persuasive manner. Strong listening skills to understand client needs. Ability to conduct face to face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including but not limited to direct-to-consumer, business and physicians
- Self-Motivated and Driven: Able to work independently and manage time effectively, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Knowledge of Healthcare and Membership Programs: Familiarity with urgent care, healthcare services, or membership programs is a plus.
- Technology Savvy: Proficient in CRM software and Google Office Suite. Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
- Valid Driver’s License & Transportation: Willingness to travel to various locations for meetings with clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant education or Equivalent: A degree in business, sales, or healthcare-related sales field is a plus but not required.
