What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist position at AFC Urgent Care?
AFC Urgent Care is looking for a full-time or part-time X-Ray/Radiologic Technician. You can start immediately. Benefits such as PTO, Healthcare, 401k, begin after 90 days. While serving as an X-Ray technician, you will also work at the front desk aiding our dedicated receptionists and medical assistants.
Responsibilities and Duties
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Perform all diagnostic x-rays
Performing triage and point of care tests when not doing X-Ray
Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
Assist inpatient care to ensure speedy patient flow and to optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization
Assist in minor in-office procedures including drug screening
Inventory supplies, replenish supplies when received
Assist in maintaining equipment
Ensure cleanliness of the patient waiting area and front office area
Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers.
ARRT Certification.
Current Massachusetts licensure or permit to practice medical imagining.
Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
Phlebotomy is a plus.
Minimum of 3 months experience post-graduation working as a licensed X-Ray Technologist preferred but not required
Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA
