Radiologic Technologist

Pride Health is hiring for a Radiology Technologist to support our client’s facility in Rutherford, NJ. This is a 13 Weeks opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare team!

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist will oversee and participate in the day-to-day clinical care of patients, utilizing imaging technology to produce quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures and ensure quality control on imaging equipment.
• Respond to equipment failures, run calibration tests, and ensure imaging equipment operates according to specifications.
• Obtain and document patient history, including allergies and past reactions.
• Verify procedure support by diagnosis/order and check patient information prior to procedures.
• Utilize appropriate shielding for radiation protection and operate imaging equipment safely.
• Start and maintain IVs/injections for procedures requiring intravenous contrast media.
• Review image quality and determine if additional imaging is necessary.
• Enter relevant image/process data into the computer system and adjust patient schedules as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience required. Specific education/certification/licensure in Radiology Technology is necessary.
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in imaging software applications; Spanish-speaking candidates preferred.

• Location: Rutherford, NJ 07070
• Job Type: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Pay Range: $37 - $40/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
