Key Responsibilities :
Workers' Compensation Case Management :
Initiate and manage workers' compensation cases for patients, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' work-related injuries, gathering relevant medical records and diagnostic test results.
Insurance Liaison :
Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers, claims adjusters, and case managers to obtain pre-authorization for treatments, procedures, and medication.
Keep abreast of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and fee schedules to ensure compliance and optimize reimbursement.
Address and resolve any claim denials or disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
Patient Advocacy :
Advocate for patients' rights and ensure their access to necessary medical treatments, therapies, and interventions.
Provide support and education to patients regarding the workers' compensation process, including their rights and responsibilities.
Coordination and Communication :
Collaborate with the medical team to schedule appointments, procedures, and evaluations for injured workers.
