We’re growing - DeWitts Radiator just relocated to a larger facility in Wixom, MI and is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales and Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and experience in the automotive aftermarket.
Job Overview
-Grow business and sales accounts
-Increasing sales activities
-Delivering an outstanding customer experience
Successful candidates will be able to:
- Manage and grow existing sales accounts while prospecting and developing new business
- Field inbound client phone calls daily and enter customer orders
- Follow industry trends, gather market intel, identify new opportunities, and recommend marketing strategies to target specific clientele
- Analyze and report sales budget performance, business forecasting utilizing customer’s forecast, sales history, and Google reviews
-Deliver strong customer service by responding to billing, technical, shipping and all other customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
-Schedule and perform product demonstrations, participate in trade shows, attend professional functions, and make meaningful contact with sales leads and existing customers
-Manage product returns cases and shipping discrepancies
-Aid customers with technical advice on installation and use of products
-Must follow established APG and OSHA safety policies and procedures
-Will handle various projects assigned by leadership from time to time
Shift:
The current shift is Monday- Friday from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. (ET)
Preferred candidates will have:
-Experience in the motor sports/automotive markets
-A high degree of professionalism, possesses excellent communication skills, demonstrates thoughtful decision making, possesses a high attention to detail, and will have the ability to work successfully with little supervision
-A thorough knowledge of common office software programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn new applications to service our clients
-Excellent computer skills and the ability to work in various customer service web portals
-Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field is preferred)
-3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
-Familiarity with thermal science and automotive cooling principles
-Teamwork mentality and cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors
-Agile and flexible and willing to flex to various parts of the business as needs arise
-Ability to work in a faced-paced, rapidly evolving manufacturing environment
