We are seeking a highly organized, and customer-focused Dental Office Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for new and existing patients, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the dentist and office team in delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Patient Relations:
- Greet and welcome new and existing patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls promptly, address inquiries, schedule appointments, process patient intake forms, and maintain patient accounts and records for new and existing patients.
- Answering patient concerns, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new and existing patients.
- Demonstrate an understanding of common dental procedures and terminology, ensuring effective communication with both patients and the dental team.
Insurance Verification & Billing:
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility, providing accurate information regarding coverage.
- Address patient insurance inquiries and concerns with professionalism and clarity.
- Assist in the submission and follow-up of claims as necessary, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a dental or medical office setting is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle patient inquiries, concerns, and provide solutions in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of dental office procedures, terminology, and insurance benefits is preferred.
- Proficient in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
