As a Member Advisor at Affinity Plus, you will be part of a dynamic team that interacts with members through various channels, including the lobby, drive-thru, and phone.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist members with everyday transactions, such as deposits, cashing checks, transfers, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring member satisfaction.
• Provide education on self-serve options, empowering members to take control of their banking needs.
• Verify endorsements and proper identification on deposit transactions, maintaining the integrity of our services.
• Execute wire or ACH transfers of funds, meeting member expectations.
• Issue debit, credit, and gift cards instantly, enhancing member convenience.
• Troubleshoot credit or debit card issues, online banking questions, or other general account-related inquiries and problems.
• Balance and maintain your personal cash drawer and branch vault, adhering to established protocols.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements and Skills

• At least 1 years of customer service or professional experience working with people and/or cash handling experience required.
• Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating effectively with others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with members.
• Time Management skills and the ability to prioritize workload based on department and member needs.
• Flexibility to adapt and succeed in a dynamic environment.
• Drive to provide exceptional service to members and colleagues.
• Intermediate computer skills and the ability to navigate between multiple systems with ease.

Work Environment

This role requires face-to-face interaction and coordination of work with other employees, as well as in-person interaction with members.

The majority of your time (90-95%) will be spent sitting, with occasional standing (5-10%), depending on your rotation within the branch.

You will work extensively at a computer (98% of the day) and utilize the phone (40-60%).

Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, or crouching may be necessary on occasion, while repetitive movements like typing, using a mouse, phones, etc., are common.

Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to approximately 50 pounds may be required.

Work Schedule

This position is part-time, with 20-25 hours/week, and shift times falling between 7am-7pm Monday-Friday and 7am-3pm on Saturday.

Consistent and reliable attendance is essential to meet the needs of the department/team and organization.

Compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $17.05 - $19.90 per hour.

This range reflects what we anticipate offering a successful candidate based on factors such as the role's responsibilities, required qualifications, and relevant experience.

The actual pay may vary depending on the selected candidate's skills, experience, and other qualifications.
