What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Affinity Property Management?
Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours)
Schedule: Flexible hours with dedication to various meetings ranging from 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday.
Location(s): Corporate Office and Virtual
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $27.00/hour
Reports to: Marketing Director
Summary of Role: Hands on experience assisting the Marketing Director in various administrative tasks contributing to the design and implementation of Affinity Property Management’s marketing strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
- Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
- Participate in a daily 9:00am Corporate Zoom call
- Assist with website design, review, and photo updates
- Social media content creation: brainstorm, design, create copy and implement strategy to various social media platforms
- Design marketing collateral (i.e., flyers) in line with Affinity’s branding
- Participate in marketing brainstorm sessions
- Utilization of Yardi Voyager software program
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
- Graphic design knowledge
- Proficient in social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram)
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to communicate effectively in various functions
- Ability to multi-task in a timely and accurate manner
