Key Responsibilities : Representing a diverse range of clients, including publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, venture capital investors, entrepreneurs, and emerging growth companies.
Handling venture capital and early-stage financings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, dispositions, and other sophisticated commercial transactions.
Providing strategic general corporate counseling to clients across various industries, helping them navigate complex legal challenges.
Managing all phases of transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional documents and leading due diligence efforts.
Collaborating with partners, team members, and clients to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
Candidate Profile : The ideal candidate is an exceptional corporate lawyer with a track record of delivering results in high-stakes, high-impact transactions. Required qualifications include :
2-8 years of experience working in a corporate practice, focusing on emerging companies, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, or general corporate matters.
Strong skills in document drafting, transactional project management, and negotiation.
A client-centric approach with the ability to establish and maintain direct relationships with clients and partners.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and positive attitude.
A JD from an ABA-accredited law school and good standing with a state Bar. Admission to the Bar of the office location or eligibility for timely admission is required.
