Essential Responsibilities & Duties (key tasks)
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Human Services, Communications, Sociology, Workforce Development, or a related field.
A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel
1-3 years of community outreach experience.

- Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote workforce development programs and services to diverse community groups and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with community-based organizations, schools, training institutions, local businesses, and government agencies.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, community events, public meetings, and networking opportunities to increase program visibility and engagement.
- Conduct presentations and information sessions about workforce services, career pathways, and available training programs.
- Gather and analyze feedback from community partners and participants to inform program development and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with program managers and service providers to align outreach efforts with program goals and target populations.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials, newsletters, social media content, and promotional campaigns to support outreach efforts.
- Track outreach activities and prepare regular reports detailing outcomes, engagement metrics, and community impact.
- Support case management staff with referral processes and follow-up communications with participants.
- Stay informed on local labor market trends, economic developments, and public policies impacting workforce development.
