The Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and implementing strategic hiring initiatives to attract, hire, retain, and optimize clinical talent in the organization. The role ensures workforce planning aligns with Affordable Care’s (AC) goals, addresses current and future clinical talent needs.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop a scalable, multi-practice recruiting strategy for current and future practice growth; attract top talent that aligns with AC’s business objectives; track and analyze key recruitment metrics to refine strategies
- Workforce Planning: Analyze workforce trends in partnership with the HR data team and leverage the AC labor model, assessing hiring needs and aligning them with patient demand, new clinic expansions, closures, etc.
- Recruiting Process Improvement: Using KPIs and HR analytics (Recruiting scorecard) and applicant tracking system, improve recruiting processes and credentialing by leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance efficiency in the candidate experience, including clinical assessment and other clinical quality methods to ensure the best candidates.
- Employer Branding and Outreach: Promote AC’s value proposition by highlighting career growth opportunities, education, etc., to attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including social media, career fairs, partnerships, etc.; develop partnerships with dental schools, residency programs, and professional organizations to create a talent pipeline
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work with Clinical, Operations Leadership, and other AC leadership to forecast and prioritize workforce needs and ensure healthy talent pipelines.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Implement strategies to build diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure hiring practices comply with labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies
- Retention and Succession: Collaborate with HR, Clinical Operations, Business Operations, etc. to improve retention strategies and identify high-potential employees for future leadership roles
- Vendor and Budget management: Oversee recruitment vendors and other related budgets
- Other duties as assigned
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Five years of experience in healthcare or dental industry
- Proven track record in workforce planning, talent strategy and recruitment technology
- Strong networking skills with schools, residency programs and professional associates
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Etc.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, management, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent strategic thinking skills with the capability of aligning hiring strategy with business goals
- Data-driven decision-making and ability to optimize recruiting strategies
- Strong understanding of medical licensing, credentialing, and industry regulations
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
