Roof Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled shingler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing installation tasks on various roofing projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing practices. The Installer will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

• Tear off existing shingles from roof, de-nail decking and remove old tar paper
• Replace and repair any damaged wood, including OSB, Plank Boards, Facia Boards
• Dry in roof with ice & water underlayment, synthetic felt underlayment, drip edge
• Shingle open runs, valleys, walls, around pipes, vents & chimneys
• Ensure all installations meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
• Install new flashing around chimneys
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment used during installations.

Requirements

• Proven experience applying shingles & prepping roof.
• Strong knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
• Experience with caulking techniques for various applications.
• Familiarity with working on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Experience:

• Roofing: 2 years (Preferred)
