About The Job:
Come join our growing team as the new Email & SMS Marketing Coordinator! Reporting into the VP of Marketing and working alongside the marketing team, you'll have full visibility and inclusion into the day to day business and brand-growing activities.
This person will handle planning, developing, implementing and maintaining the email and SMS customer journey. Additionally, this person will be responsible for driving improvements in channel performance through active testing, refinement, reporting and maintaining permissions. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of email marketing and SMS marketing best practices, permissions best practices, and consumer behavior.
This person will work closely with colleagues across marketing, creative, and digital product, driving customer acquisition and retention. You will help to grow the number of people on our lists, and ensure that we deliver compelling, interesting content to them that drives business results.
This role is Hybrid and requires 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), based conveniently in Midtown next to the Empire State Building.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive email marketing and SMS marketing strategy to align with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Set up and manage email and SMS marketing automation workflows to deliver personalized and timely messages based on user behavior and preferences.
- Create and maintain best practices for technical email design and copywriting for our creative team.
- Create and manage email and SMS templates according to specifications provided by creative.
- Develop and execute a testing program that drives improved channel performance.
- Monitor and analyze email and SMS campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion rates, etc.).
- Provide regular reports to the marketing team, outlining key insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Recommend and work with the appropriate team(s) to implement strategies to grow the email and SMS subscriber lists and improve list quality.
- Comply with regulations: Ensure that email/SMS marketing efforts comply with data protection regulations and industry policies.
Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements
- 3 years experience in email and SMS marketing, including experience with marketing automation tools
- Proven experience in driving email and SMS channel performance improvement
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects
- Strong analytical thinker, with proven ability to uncover data-driven insights.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in SMS and email marketing.
- Effective cross-functional team builder and collaborator.
- Critical thinker and problem solver.

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
