Position Overview:
As a District Sales Coordinator for Aflac, you will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering our district sales team. This position requires an individual with a strong organizational mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a collaborative environment. You will assist in coordinating and implementing sales initiatives, tracking performance metrics, ensuring effective communication within the team, and contributing to the overall success of Aflac’s sales operations in your designated district.
**IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL CURRENTLY HOLD AN ACTIVE KY/IN HEALTH INSURANCE LICENSE**
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Support and Coordination:
- Coordinate Sales Efforts: Work closely with the District Sales Manager and sales agents to execute and monitor sales campaigns and initiatives, ensuring smooth and effective operations.
- Lead Generation Assistance: Support sales agents in generating and managing leads by utilizing various tools, systems, and strategies to maximize lead conversion.
- Sales Training & Onboarding: Help organize and schedule training sessions, onboarding for new agents, and continuing education opportunities for current agents.
- Assist with Presentations: Provide logistical support for client presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales activities.
2. Administrative Support:
- Sales Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales performance data. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), assist in performance analysis, and provide insights to the District Sales Manager.
- Database Management: Ensure accurate input and maintenance of sales-related data in Aflac’s CRM and other internal systems. Maintain a clean and organized database of client information, leads, and contacts.
- Contract Processing: Assist in processing applications and contracts, ensuring they are completed correctly and submitted promptly for approval.
3. Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Team Communication: Serve as a key communication link between the district sales team and leadership, ensuring consistent updates and feedback between all levels.
- Motivation and Recognition: Support the District Sales Manager in recognizing top performers and fostering a motivating environment for all team members. Help organize events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing district-wide meetings, conferences, and other corporate events to build morale and promote team success.
4. Client Relationship Management:
- Client Retention: Support efforts in strengthening client relationships, following up on account status, and identifying opportunities for additional coverage or services.
- Customer Service Support: Act as an additional point of contact for clients to resolve inquiries and provide solutions related to policies, claims, and other insurance-related concerns.
5. Marketing & Promotion:
- Marketing Collateral: Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials for promotional events, outreach programs, and community events.
- Community Outreach: Support initiatives to promote Aflac’s products and services through local events, networking, and partnerships. Help organize community outreach programs to raise awareness about Aflac’s offerings.
Qualifications:Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, administrative roles, or customer service. Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Sales & Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of sales strategies, sales processes, and customer relationship management.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, identify issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar). Knowledge of Aflac’s internal systems is a plus.
- Customer Service Orientation: A customer-first mindset with the ability to provide exceptional service to internal and external clients.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed to support district initiatives and sales team events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
