- Designs Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems for industry, selecting components based on design needs.
- Creates schematics and 3D models.
- Consults technically, assists sales people with technical requests, sometimes crossing over competitor’s parts.
- Maintains documentation of projects.
- Actively engages with project management software.
- Maintains applicable knowledge of best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong mathematical ability.
- Computer proficient in Excel, AutoCad & 3D modeling.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- Two years engineering experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of Hydraulic systems a plus.
