Job Description
We are looking for a Food Truck Manager to oversee the daily operations of the food truck while playing an active role in cooking, food prep, and team management. This role combines culinary expertise, operational leadership, and customer service to ensure smooth operations and a high-quality experience for every guest.
.Responsibilities:
- Coordinate food truck setup and breakdown at various locations and events.
- Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the food truck and equipment.
- Train, supervise, and schedule food truck staff to maintain smooth operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Deliver exceptional service by engaging with customers and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Handle transactions, manage cash flow, and ensure accurate sales reporting.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute food truck appearances at events, markets, and private catering functions.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for event organizers and clients.
- Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and consistency standards.
- Ensure all food is handled and stored safely according to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in creating efficient workflows for cooking and service
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary management (required).
- Familiarity with West African cuisine and traditional cooking techniques (preferred).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage and resolve guest service issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
- Will be required to tow the food truck to various locations and events.
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to complete training upon hire).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.42 - $19.22 per hour
