AG-Industrial, Inc. is seeking a full-time Service Writer to join our Dover, DE location. We’re a leading farm and construction equipment dealership looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, customer-focused, and ready to support our service department’s daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and serve as their main point of contact throughout the service process.
- Listen to customer concerns, accurately document service needs, and communicate clearly with technicians and management.
- Open and manage work orders in the system, schedule service appointments, and track job progress.
- Provide accurate estimates, explain service recommendations, and review invoices with customers.
- Process payments, manage warranty claims, and follow up with customers after service is completed.
- Serve as a communication bridge between customers and internal departments including Parts, Trucking, and Sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and assist in other duties as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a service writer, customer service, or administrative role (farm or construction equipment experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve customer issues with professionalism.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with service writing software or similar tools.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
