Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
- Performance of routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting of issues with diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic components.
- Replacement of worn or damaged parts, including brakes, tires, and suspension components.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Diesel mechanic degree or relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
