The Role: As the Front Desk Receptionist, you are the friendly face and voice to all Ag Workers visitors, whether in-office or on the phone. Additionally, you play the key part of Gatekeeper, monitoring the security cameras and notifying staff of any out-of-the-ordinary circumstances or strange visitors. You also assist in processing mail and documents and ensure that they end up at the correct final destination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and directing guests and Delivery personnel.
- Maintaining building security by discerning access.
- Watching the camera system to stay aware of outside activity.
- Answering switchboard calls and directing to the appropriate person.
- Processing claims emails and directing them to the corresponding representative.
- Keeping track of mail supplies.
- Sort and Organize policy payments.
- Create Dependent Removals profiles for Insureberry.
- Send Cancellation Text/ Payment Reminder Text to policyholders.
- Address and Send out Birthday Cards to first 1,000 Policyholders.
- Sort Emails for Insureberry
- Mail out policy refund checks
- Mail out claims checks
- Sorting and Entering data for Annual Proxys
- Enter Certified Mail In Word Doc and send it out
- Alerting appropriate staff member of visitors.
- Reviewing and distributing incoming faxes.
- Functioning as a back-up for scan room personnel.
- Complying with all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Best-in-class customer service skills with accurate data entry skills.
- Effective and concise written and verbal communication skills with strong listening skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong listening skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office products including, but not limited to, Outlook and Teams.
