Bartender
Hourly Wage Range: Based on tips; $12.00 per hour in addition to 10% server tips.
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests in a dynamic bar setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks following recipes with precision
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional beverages and recommend menu items
- Monitor alcohol consumption to prevent over-intoxication
Experience:
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing, retail math, Toast POS, and fine dining is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons effectively
- Proficiency in basic math for accurate order processing
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively with colleagues
