Job Summary:
Hourly wage range is based on tips. The hourly rate is $10.00 per hour in addition to 10% of server tips. Join our team as a Host/Host where you will be an integral part of creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for greeting and seating customers, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient operations in our hospitality environment.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage reservations and waitlists effectively
- Provide guests with menus and assist with menu inquiries
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Assist in maintaining a positive atmosphere for guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Toast POS
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- Willingness to assist others and contribute to a positive guest experience
