Duties

- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or management.
- Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events.
- Uphold resident rights by ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of living spaces while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of long-term care practices.
- Experience working in group home settings or memory care environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to advocating for patient care.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of resident information.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to provide direct support while demonstrating empathy and patience towards individuals with varying needs.
- Previous experience as a nurse or in assisted living facilities is a plus.

Pay: $120.00 - $140.00 per day
