Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language, and motor skills.
- Provide individualized care and attention to each child, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with infant aged children or in related roles such as babysitting or nannying.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Experience in toddler care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with educating children with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
