Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a dog training facility environment, assisting clients with their needs, and ensuring harmony in the open gym. This role requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and experience with reading animal behavior.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and assign them to open gym equipment.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing shelves and ensuring products are displayed correctly.
- Monitor dog behavior and circumvent any possible dog on dog fights.
- Provide information about memberships, classes and special events to encourage registration.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization standards throughout the facility.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transactions.
- Previous experience with dog handling and animal behavior is a must (minimum of 3 years perferred).
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation.
- Sales skills to promote services and boost facility performance.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Outstanding customer service skills to create a positive gym experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
