The Role:
We’re looking for a Catering & Events Manager with Logistics Expertise who is polished, articulate, and passionate about building meaningful relationships. This individual will bring a strong background in sales and marketing while excelling in operational logistics for our national shipping program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Catering & Events Sales
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow our catering and events division.
- Build relationships with clients to secure private, corporate, and community events.
- Cultivate and maintain corporate relationships to drive sales for corporate gifting programs.
- Manage end-to-end coordination of events, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Logistics Management for Shipping Program
- Oversee logistics for the launch and ongoing operation of our national cupcake shipping program.
- Collaborate with production and fulfillment teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
- Monitor and optimize shipping processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Marketing & Business Development
- Create and implement marketing campaigns to attract catering clients, corporate gifting clients, and promote shipping services.
- Develop partnerships with local businesses and community organizations.
- Represent BITE ME Cupcakery at events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong, ongoing communication with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring every interaction reflects Epic Brands' values.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the food, events, or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and operational planning, ideally with experience in e-commerce or shipping.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outgoing and personable, with a talent for building strong relationships.
- Proficient in using CRM software and marketing tools.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary: $53,000/year.
- Commission structure:
- 4% on all catering and events sales.
- 3% on all shipping sales.
