What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Escrow Officer position at Agave Title Agency?
Provides support to the Escrow Officer on all files and post-closing duties but can work a file from beginning. The Jr Escrow Office assists in facilitating closing, ensuring all documents and balances required to complete a sales and mortgage transaction are properly prepared and executed. The Junior Escrow Officer may have their own refinance escrows and work independently on those files.

- Perform a variety of clerical duties including, but not limited to, reviewing escrow contracts and loan documents, preparing escrow instructions and various reports, monitoring the progress of loan approvals and ordering loan documents.
- Assist in preparing all required documents to comply with instructions and directions from all parties to accurately close transactions.
- Communicate with clients, lenders, vendors and realtors to ensure smooth open and close of escrow.
- Thoroughly review all file documents to determine and fulfill all transaction requirements.
- Provide backup to escrow officer.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum of high school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience:
- 3 years of experience working in Title industry as a customer service representative, pre-closer or escrow assistant.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong personal computer skills.
- Position may require strong marketing and sales skills.
- Superior communication skills, including presentation skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. And ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure, with ability to occasionally work extra hours during peak times of the month.
- High degree of integrity, self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and possesses a strong aptitude for figures. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Position requires approval from the Department of Corporations.
