AgCarolina Farm Credit has an open position for a Home & Land Lending Manager. As the Home & Land Lending Manager, you will plan, lead, and direct the Home & Land Lending Strategy for the Association and carry out that strategy with your team for the defined market segment(s). You will utilize market, customer, and industry expertise to lead and effectively work with the Chief Lending Officer of Branch Lending and the Business Development Committee to capitalize on growth opportunities in the consumer Home & Land segment of our business. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will promote a culture of teamwork, alignment, and accountability while also collaborating with management peers and encourage open cross departmental communications.

The Home & Land Lending Manager will contribute to all business objectives including "Help the Association Constructively Grow". This position will report to the Chief Lending Officer of Branch Lending.

Supervise Home & Land Lending and Marketing business development activities in concert with the business plan and overall goals and objectives for business retention and acquisitionEstablishes and implements a regional Marketing Development PlanMaximizes quality business growth to meet Association's profitability objectivesPromote cross-selling of products and servicesCollaborate with the Chief Lending Officer - Branch Lending on required reportsDevelop relationships with centers of influence to maximize untapped mortgage opportunities within territoryMaintain current awareness of the secondary market industry, as well as economic and housing developments within the territoryDevelops and communicates a strong customer service focus encouraging high standards for both interdepartmental and external customer relationshipsIdentify and adopt value-added, innovative processesDevelops, mentors, and coaches team membersEnsures a competent, motivated staff through training, counseling, supervision and review of activity and resultsChampions change management and positive assists team with changeAssures a well-trained, motivated, and appropriately compensated staff, capable of meeting the challenges facing the AssociationDevelops an entrepreneurial spirit among the team, which involves innovation, creativity, vision, and productivityUnderstands, promotes, and provides training on Association products, services, and systemsWhat you need to succeed :
Education and / or experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or other related fieldAt least 10 years of experience in secondary mortgage marketAt least 5 years of experience with strategic planning, specifically go-to market strategiesSound understanding of laws and regulations governing financial institutionsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsSkilled in project management, being a leader among peers and / or work flow managementDetail oriented and excellent communication (oral and written) skillsMust be a quick learner, adaptable and highly organizedComputer experience with expert skills in Microsoft Office and OutlookWork independently under general supervisionStrong knowledge of Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac underwriting standards and guidelines.Ability to travel throughout the territory; valid driver's license requiredCapability to handle high stress situations in both a business and professional mannerModel and exhibit AgCarolina's GROWS cultureFoster and promote a team atmosphereAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipWhat we offer :
