Home & Land Lending Manager - Fayetteville, Raleigh, Whiteville, or Smithfield

AgCarolina Farm Credit has an open position for a Home & Land Lending Manager. As the Home & Land Lending Manager, you will plan, lead, and direct the Home & Land Lending Strategy for the Association and carry out that strategy with your team for the defined market segment(s). You will utilize market, customer, and industry expertise to lead and effectively work with the Chief Lending Officer of Branch Lending and the Business Development Committee to capitalize on growth opportunities in the consumer Home & Land segment of our business. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will promote a culture of teamwork, alignment, and accountability while also collaborating with management peers and encourage open cross departmental communications.

The Home & Land Lending Manager will contribute to all business objectives including "Help the Association Constructively Grow". This position will report to the Chief Lending Officer of Branch Lending.

How you will impact AgCarolina Farm Credit:
- Supervise Home & Land Lending and Marketing business development activities in concert with the business plan and overall goals and objectives for business retention and acquisition
- Establishes and implements a regional Marketing Development Plan
- Maximizes quality business growth to meet Association's profitability objectives
- Promote cross-selling of products and services
- Collaborate with the Chief Lending Officer - Branch Lending on required reports
- Develop relationships with centers of influence to maximize untapped mortgage opportunities within territory
- Maintain current awareness of the secondary market industry, a s well as economic and housing developments within the territory
- Develops and communicates a strong customer service focus encouraging high standards for both interdepartmental and external customer relationships
- Identify and adopt value-added, innovative processes
- Develops, mentors, and coaches team members
- Ensures a competent, motivated staff through training, counseling, supervision and review of activity and results
- Champions change management and positive assists team with change
- Assures a well-trained, motivated, and appropriately compensated staff, capable of meeting the challenges facing the Association
- Develops an entrepreneurial spirit among the team, which involves innovation, creativity, vision, and productivity
- Understands, promotes, and provides training on Association products, services, and systems

What you need to succeed:
- Education and/or experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or other related field
- At least 10 years of experience in secondary mortgage market
- At least 5 years of experience with strategic planning, specifically go-to market strategies
- Sound understanding of laws and regulations governing financial institutions
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in project management, being a leader among peers and/or work flow management
- Detail oriented and excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Must be a quick learner, adaptable and highly organized
- Computer experience with expert skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Work independently under general supervision
- Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac underwriting standards and guidelines.
- Ability to travel throughout the territory; v alid driver's license required
- Capability to handle high stress situations in both a business and professional manner

- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
