Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Kitchen Lead to join our team. The Kitchen Lead will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and lead a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Kitchen Operations: Oversee the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring all orders are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure all food items meet company standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste and ensure availability of ingredients.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-food kitchen or similar environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
