Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in the food industry, particularly in environments related to brewing and craft beer production. This role is essential for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Job description: This position will be responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment. Inspection of equipment for proper functioning and performing preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer’s specifications. This position may require weekend and/or holiday work. This position reports to Maintenance Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, analyze and investigate malfunction of plant packaging equipment and repair/adjust in order to keep in good operating condition.
- Troubleshoots equipment, making repair/adjustments as necessary for maximum operating efficiency.
- Replace/repair motors, gears boxes, drive units and all other packaging equipment components as required.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any inefficiencies caused by equipment or materials used.
- Packaging equipment changeovers for different size containers or components.
- Maintain assigned records or downtime logs of equipment malfunction or component parts used for repair.
- Comply with good manufacturing practices, safety and audit standards.
- Monitors performance and productivity to maximize operation excellence
- Responsible for identifying areas of improvement and establishing updating existing work procedures and practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in similar position required
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels within the organization.
- Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
- Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs. above head
- Individual must be able to create, promote, and maintain a culture that conducts all maintenance operations from a foundation of safety and accident prevention.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
