Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed physician, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and acute pain management.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician, including catheterization and other invasive procedures.
- Conduct routine vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective discharge plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on various aspects of care, including infection control and ophthalmology.
- Participate in the development of patient care plans, including setting and meeting patient goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Current LVN license in the state of [State].
- Experience in an occupational health setting or teaching hospital.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
