Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced PBX Operator to join our team in Corpus Christi. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience managing high-volume phone systems, handling hundreds of calls per day with efficiency and professionalism. As a PBX Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, ensuring smooth and effective communication across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage multi-line phone systems (PBX).
- Handle high volumes of incoming and outgoing calls, routing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Provide accurate information and assistance to callers.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
- Manage and update telephone directories and databases.
- Monitor and respond to voice mail messages.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and scheduling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to the phone system.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or a related field is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience as a PBX Operator or in a similar role handling high call volumes.
- Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems and related equipment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
