Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced FOOD Production Supervisor to oversee our FOOD manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembly line processes within a manufacturing facility and possess excellent leadership skills. This role is critical in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team, coordinating workflow, and optimizing production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the assembly line to ensure efficient production processes.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning; perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for fabrication tasks, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any production issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations within the factory environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the workspace to uphold cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and factory operations.
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred; certification may be required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and coordinate with other departments.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods as required by the job.
