As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages and ensuring a high level of satisfaction. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and assisting with ordering when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is preferred for managing stock levels effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Experience in catering or brewing is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
