Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
- Mix and garnish drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to underage or intoxicated guests.
- Handle cash and card transactions, balancing the cash register at the end of the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of applicable alcohol laws and regulations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Craft beer knowledge not required but is preferred.
Pay: Starting at $7.25/hour tips
