Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Account Payables will perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payables data.
- Facilitates payments to vendor, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
- AP assist with month-end closing
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong business acumen and acuity
- Ability and willingness to perform as a team member on multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality
- Ability to analyze information and use deductive reasoning
- Self-starter; highly motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
- Skill in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook,
- Spoken and written fluency in English
Requirements
- High School diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in account payables
- Understanding of basic accounting principals
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
