Job Title: System Administrator II
Location: 850 Dryden Way, Bldg. 1923, Shaw AFB, South Carolina 29152
Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret
Required Certification(s):
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (Sec )
* MCSA or equivalent certification
SUMMARY
Provide system administrator support, including installation, configuration, operation, management, troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, inspecting and maintaining server systems including administration of all core and functional services/systems for TBMCS or equivalent systems.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Configure, maintain, software and affiliated systems.
* Analyze and resolve problems associated with hardware, operating system, and application software.
* Maintain workstation / server operating system software such as: Windows and UNIX.
* Detect, analyze, and resolve problems associated with hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
* Document System Administration procedures, instructions, changes and upgrades.
* Provide technical assistance of all assigned projects.
* Create and manage user directories on the workstations/servers.
* Perform workstation/server configuration management and documentation.
* Monitor workstations/server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriate troubleshooting and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (Sec )
* MCSA or equivalent certification
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* 1 years performing administrative maintenance on TBMCS servers.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
* Understanding of AOC, SPO, or AFCENT environments.
* Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS), Command and Control (C2), Active Directory (AD), Scripting, VMware, and SCCM.
Preferred Skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with the team on assigned tasks, expectations, and schedules.
* Must be well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks, and be adaptable to change to accomplish assignments.
* Excellent Customer Focus/Satisfaction skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, organization, writing, communicating, and briefing skills.
* Strong self-starter attitude and team-oriented.
