Job Summary:
This role serves as a SAN Administrator, providing technical leadership and guidance for storage tasks at the customer site. The successful candidate will support the client's Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure Services (ECIS) Team, maintaining the overall health of Storage Area Networks and resolving escalated SAN tickets. Additionally, they will develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and instructions for handling standard Storage Area Network (SAN) related incidents, work orders, and service requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall health of technologies associated with Storage Area Networks.
- Resolve SAN tickets escalated from the service desk, including executing administrative activities and providing weekly Messaging Status reports.
- Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and instructions for handling standard Storage Area Network (SAN) related incidents, work orders, and service requests.
- Provide expert guidance on SAN capacity and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience managing/configuring SAN storage devices.
- In-depth understanding of iSCSI, CIFS, and NFS protocols.
- Knowledge of VMware vCenter, HA, DRS, and Windows Server configuration.
- Experience with SnapCenter and NetApp.
