Network/Systems Engineer

Position Summary:   

We are seeking a highly experienced Network and Systems Engineer to join our team. The candidate should have a passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. This role sits at the intersection of systems administration, network engineering, and security compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical network and IT infrastructure, while also ensuring systems security and HIPAA compliance across our organization. This individual will report directly to the Director of IT and play a key role in supporting our critical IT services and infrastructure, as well as collaborating closely with our Helpdesk team for Tier 3 support escalations and mentoring. 

Responsibilities:  

• Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure tenant environment, including management of multiple tenants (EntraID, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure Virtual Machines, and Hostpools).
• Implement and maintain, Autopilot, and Intune deployment for end-user devices.
• Manage Office 365 E3/5 security features, such as Azure Information Protection, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Ownership and control of all network equipment and infrastructure administration, including Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco Meraki, and SonicWall devices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including configuration and procedures.
• Provide Tier 3 support and escalation assistance to Helpdesk team.
• Assist in the planning and migration of systems obtained through future merger & acquisition activities including migration of on-premise or on-cloud servers to current M365/Azure tenant.
• Lead security posture assessments, audits and remediation initiatives.
• Implement and maintain HIPAA compliance across systems and practices.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.  4 years minimum experience and/or certifications may be used in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Microsoft Azure administration, Autopilot deployment, and Office 365 E5 Security and User Administration features
• 3 Years of network administration and implementation, including management of multiple ISP Circuits across multiple sites
• Experience in migrating and consolidating IT systems through key projects from prior mergers and acquisitions
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
• Familiarity with security standards, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR
• Experience with various cloud-hosted VoIP systems (Nextiva, Gotoconnect, TPX, Cisco, Vonage)
• Travel 35% or as necessary to support multiple clinics across the company
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA, SonicWALL , Microsoft Azure certifications are a Plus

Salary: 

Starting compensation range $100,000-$130,000 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
