Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a proactive, responsible, and compassionate Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Agile Occupational Medicine. As a patient-facing team member, you will work alongside healthcare professionals such as medical providers and Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care and customer service. You will perform your administrative front office tasks to ensure a professional and positive clinic experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting clinic operations, including but not limited to Physical Therapy department, in preparing treatment area, equipment, and materials for patient care.
- Answering phone calls in a professional manner and responding to patient inquiries.
- Greet and receive walk-in patients/visitors in the reception area, gather crucial information in connection with their needs.
- Performs clerical administrative duties as needed to expedite day-to-day operations and office functions. Assigned by direct manager and or administrative managers as needed.
- Under the direction of the Physical Therapists, assisting patients with exercises (in addition to walking, sitting, standing, etc.), helping with transfers, and providing support during treatments.
- Sorting and distributing mail.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby and reception area; cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, ensuring clinic is in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and directives.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of reception experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to maintain logs and reports.
- An orientation to customer service and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Experience in physical therapy office or outpatient setting preferred.
Salary:
- Starting compensation range $21.00 $23.00 hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
