The ideal candidate will be bilingual and possess 5 years' experience in recruiting and managing provider networks along with negotiating, reviewing, and amending contracts. This experience will include a thorough knowledge of contracting with physicians, physician groups, and ancillary providers using various payment methodologies and a working knowledge of the greater Houston landscape. SUMMARY

This is a key position in our organization, leading market-based development initiatives and reporting to Patient Care Health's president. This role leads the strategic direction and management of the day-to-day provider development and network activities for the market. This position works closely with PCH's unique ecosystem of partners and providers. The right candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that result in growth while maintaining a broad network of physicians, behavioral health, and ancillary providers on a market basis.

Requirements : Key Responsibilities

• The Director, Network Development is responsible for network expansion and the administrative functions relating to provider network recruitment and development for the assigned territories within assigned markets
• This individual will work both autonomously and collaboratively with other Patient Care Health leaders and team members, demonstrating a commitment toward shared goals, strategic objectives, and the administration of organizational policies and procedures
• Participate in all phases of provider recruitment including outreach, development of provider communication strategies, provider recruitment document preparation, follow-up with providers, and securing executed contracts
• Manage and conduct effective and efficient contract negotiations, and develop strategies, tactics, and methods for specific network development initiatives
• Review, assess, and continuously identify methods for improving Patient Care Health's development / growth processes and procedures
• Develop a strong recruitment pipeline and ensure existing practices / provider networks also generate new growth in existing lines of business
• Support PCH market research for the effective creation and implementation of the network's lead generation initiatives
• Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines for PCH market specific strategic priority initiatives
• Responsible for ensuring the provider recruitment database and documentation is accurate in all systems, including CRM
• Collaborate with internal key stakeholders to remove barriers impeding contract negotiations; manage contract implementation; identify opportunities for process improvement and facilitate problem resolution
• Partner with executive team to identify provider issues or complaints; develop and implement a course of action to resolve concerns
• Attend / support conferences, community events, and other development activities as determined by PCH
• Provide an excellent customer experience to both new provider leads and existing network providers
