We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Business Analyst/Scrum Master to join our team dedicated to the Microsoft Dynamics (D365 preferred) migration project, scheduled for completion in July. This dual role will focus on facilitating team effectiveness within a larger migration effort, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, driving the team towards achieving sprint goals, and performing key business analysis tasks. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, possess excellent facilitation and analytical skills, and have a solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics (D365 preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Scrum Master, championing Agile/Scrum values and practices, and fostering a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing team environment.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives), ensuring they are productive, focused, and time-boxed.
- Proactively identify and remove impediments, enabling a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Coach and mentor the team on Agile/Scrum best practices, promoting continuous improvement.
- Maintain and manage the product backlog, collaborating with the product owner to prioritize user stories and tasks.
- Track and report on sprint progress using burndown charts and other metrics, providing transparency and ensuring accountability.
- Provide regular deliverable updates to executive leadership, communicating progress and addressing potential roadblocks.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, creating user stories, process flows, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable system specifications, particularly within the Microsoft Dynamics (D365 preferred) migration project.
- Assist in clarifying requirements and resolving issues related to the Dynamics 365 system, providing support to team members in understanding the platform.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a dual Business Analyst and Scrum Master role, or significant experience in both areas.
- Strong track record of successful Agile project delivery.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (D365 preferred) is essential.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and principles.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience documenting requirements, creating user stories, and performing business process analysis.
- Technical aptitude is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with large-scale migration projects, particularly involving Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with Business analysis within the Dynamics 365 environment.
