Job Title : PowerBuilder Developer
Job Location : Lansing, Mi (Hybrid)
Job Type : Contract
Posting Summary : Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Day to day activities include data management, source control (TFS / Azure DevOps, GIT), unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development and data integrity.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Some college preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
- PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
- Work in a hybrid office
- Willingness to learn
Required Skills

PowerBuilder
Developer Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data. Current experience 5
T-SQL Query
Writing Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database. Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data. 10
Data
Management Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis. 10
Source Control Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS / Azure DevOps, or GIT. 5
Unit Testing Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes. 10
Documentation Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams. 10
Testing Must be able to work with the client and / or Business Analyst to support test scenarios. 5
Production
Support Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis. 5
Change
Management Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes.
