This is Charlotte, Sr. Healthcare Recruiter at Prime Physicians. One of our federal clients, IHS, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Taos, NM (87571).
Start Date: July 2025
Duration: 3-12 Months Contract
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM (40 hrs/week)
Requirements:
2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience (Robotic Prescription Dispensing System experience REQUIRED)
High school diploma or equivalent
CPhT & BLS preferred

Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prescriptions.
- Provide patient care by answering inquiries and offering medication counseling.
- Maintain inventory levels and manage medication storage in accordance with regulations.
- Perform IV infusions and utilize aseptic techniques in a hospital setting.
- Document patient information and medication administration accurately, adhering to medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support critical care and acute care initiatives.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.28 - $26.83 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
