As an Agilent Field Service Representative, you'll travel to customer labs to install, maintain, and repair Biomolecular, Genomics, and Cellular Analysis instruments. These critical tools support research, development, and manufacturing in areas like Cell and Gene Therapy, Infectious Disease, Virology and Vaccine Research, Immunology, Immuno-oncology, Immunotherapy, Next Generation Sequencing, and Pre-Natal Disease Detection. The Biomolecular Service Organization is a rapidly growing part of Agilent's Customer Service Organization, supporting these exciting markets.

What You'll Do :

  • Support Customers : Engage with customers for the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of one or more products related to Cellular Analysis, Microarray Solutions, Automated Electrophoresis, Research Flow Cytometry, PCR / Real-Time PCR, Microplate Instrumentation, and Automated Liquid Handling
  • Problem Solving : Diagnose and resolve product performance issues, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations for our clients
  • Preventive Maintenance : Advise customers on preventive measures and configurations to enhance product performance and longevity
  • Collaborate : Work closely with our Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Continuous Learning : Participate in internal technical training and workshops to stay ahead in your field
  • Advocate : Elevate "Voice of Customer" in relaying critical insights and customer experiences to Agilent leadership

What We're Looking For :

  • Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in a science field (e.g., biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical, chemistry, engineering or similar)
  • Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for technology
  • Experience : Minimal to no prior work experience required - we value your fresh perspective and eagerness to learn
  • Team Player : Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate activities with others
  • Adaptability : Willingness to travel and adapt to different customer environments
  • Relocation : As part of the Services Campus Hire Program, successful candidates will spend 6-9 months onboarding and training with peers in Wilmington, Delaware and must be willing to relocate for that period, housing assistance will be provided during the program

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a science or engineering field (e.g., biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical or similar)
  • Experience with the Agilent solutions is a plus
  • Experience troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful, and timely
  • You have a valid driver's license
  • Travel : 50% - 2-3 days per week in the field visiting customers; occasional overnight travel, if needed

    Additional Details

    This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least February 19, 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

    The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $28.25 - $52.97 / hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. During the hiring process, a recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for a preferred location.
